The March Hare Rally is held in the Waimate Showgrounds (click for map). Just follow the signs from SH1 and SH82. The site is within easy walking distance of Waimate and we also run a free shuttle bus at regular intervals to the various hotels and motels etc around the town. Sorry no Eftpos on site so bring plenty of cash or catch the bus to a money machine in town.

Gates open on the Friday at 9am but camping sites will be available from Thursday afternoon if you want to set up early. More and more people are coming on the Friday it's a great night for a catch up.
We have a licensed bar on site. The beer is CHEAP and COLD.
Please do not bring any BYO to the rally. The conditions of our liquor license do not allow BYO alcohol on-site and also all persons under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times while on the March Hare site!
We have a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks and water, as well as our legendary range of excellent food available at all times.
No cars are allowed on the Rally site. We have plenty of parking for support vehicles opposite the site. You can unload gear at the entry gate but the vehicle must be removed immediately. We will then ferry your gear to your camp site for you.
